Just starting out

Are you starting on the road to ISO/IEC 17025 or 17020 accreditation? It can be overwhelming looking at all requirements. Let us give you the big picture of the requirements of the relevant standard as well as NATA's accreditation criteria.

Accredited laboratories

The best way you can prepare your team for a NATA audit is make sure they are well informed about the requirements. This allows them to have confidence that they are not only technical competent but that they understand what it means to be working within and accredited laboratory.

A welcome side-effect of this is that staff are also likely to engage more with your quality system. They may even have a few suggestions for improvement for you!

If you have staff conducting internal audits you will need to demonstrate their training and competency to complete such activities (and NATA will expect to see records of this!)
